Know if you can afford it before you commit.
Zero-based budgeting is great for today. Tare also shows where your cash and your debt are heading, month by month, and lets you try a big change on a copy of your budget first.

Every dollar has a job. What about next month's?
Most zero-based apps refuse to look past this month. That keeps you honest about today, and leaves you guessing about the car payment, the trip, or the month three bills land at once.
Test big changes without blowing up your budget.
Want to know if you can afford a new car payment or a $5,000 vacation? Duplicate your budget in one click, model the scenario, and see how it moves your cash and your debt payoff date.
How the forecast works
Built from your budget, not a guess.
-
01Two ways to look ahead
Usual assumes each category keeps spending what it has lately. Targets assumes you stick to the targets you've set. Switch between them to see the gap between habit and plan.
-
02Big bills land in their month
A yearly insurance bill or an annual subscription shows up as the lump it is, in the month it's due, so you see the dip coming. Savings goals stay in cash, because that's where the money is.
-
03Debt with a finish line
Each card's payoff date comes from what you're actually putting toward it. Change the payment and watch the date move.
-
04Try it on a copy
A scenario is a copy of your budget. Change income, add a fake account like a new mortgage, adjust targets. Keep it as a template, throw it away, or apply it to the months ahead. Your real budget isn't touched until you say so.
